Getting my “Sea” legs

Well two months have passed and I am settling into life in Seattle. I am so grateful to have a support system in place that allowed for this “swerve ” as Michelle Obama aptly named moves of this magnitude.

It feels a bit surreal but also feels very right. I am excited to explore the city on my own each weekend that I have free time. I have been very intentional about leaving space for myself in this new chapter.

I am guarding me time jealously! I miss my family and friends tremendously but am finding the quiet time nurturing.

In a few weeks I am taking a trip to Vancouver BC just to hang. Life gave me a new start…time to play!!!

This is a short post I realize. But I am on a solo date and my gumbo just arrived. Let’s eat.
